didnt know this until i bought it yesterday: best buy has El Cid THREE-disc deluxe edition....bonus 24 min featurrette with john bevere on el cid's values...
any news on 55 Days At Peiking (last i remember its supposed to be released under the Miriam banner...)

I don't know when it will be released or what spine number it will be, but Julian Schnabel's "Lou Reed-Berlin" will be a Miriam Collection release. When I saw it a SXSW this year, the Miriam Collection logo animation played before it, just as it did before "Joy Division" later in the week.

Just a quick update. Looks like Death Defying Acts (for whatever reason) was released without the Miriam Collection banner.
ALso Amazon.com is having a pretty good sale on some titles in tis collection

Posted this in a related thread in the bargains forum, but figured it bore repeating here:
This will probably only be useful to Canadian readers, but a bargain chain up here called Giant Tiger has new copies of the BOX SET versions of EL CID and FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE to their DVD bargain bins for only $9.99CDN (just over $8US). Sure beats $25-35US at the usual online suspects (or more at the Canadian sites). Only saw a couple of copies of each in the bin in the store I visited today, but as always, your mileage etc. etc. . .
