That cover art is every bit as epic and awesome as the film is (one of my favorite comedies ever). All it needs is a soundchip that plays "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)".

I've never owned this, despite really liking it, because when I first saw it around '99, people on the internet would not shut the hell up about it or stop quoting it, and it was getting very obnoxious to me, to the point where I started getting irritated whenever Lebowski was mentioned, whether online or in person. But then I rewatched it a few of years ago and remembered why I enjoyed the movie so much.
Guess I can retire my pan and scan, recorded off of Showtime on VHS (in EP mode, no less) copy after all these years.

The line doesn't even go through the S, so it's sort of a compromise. It's still "The Big Lebowski", it's just that the S in the title kinda resembles a dollar sign.

I'm in. I've got the original Polygram DVD (fortunately, I skipped the CE because the extras seemed lackluster). I've gotten enough enjoyment out of that one and enough time has passed for me to pick up the new release.
