Bill is the dumbest fucking person I've ever came across. He continues to cry about how little Code Red titles sell but yet he doesn't have stock of anything because he sold out? I really wish Code Red would go out of business and Walter take over the titles and release via Scoprion.

Bill won't send any movies directly to me because I pointed out a couple ways he could save money on shipping. He says I'm wrong because he asked his mailman and media mail is the cheapest way to send movies.

In reality, a single movie is typically light enough to be sent first class and is also cheaper than media mail. Plus with the amount of movies he was selling directly, he could have opened an account with stamps.com and saved money through there. My wife and I sell stuff and she figured that simply doing 30 DVD orders a month is enough to make it worth opening an account with stamps.

None of that matters of course because Bill is right. Bill is always right.

He ought to get this anonymous mailman to do a DVD commentary, he's certainly referenced "the mailman" dozens of times. Yeesh. Nothing against mailmen, I'm quite pleased with my local postal service, but when I sell my stuff on Ebay I don't reference an anonymous mailman in the shipping policy section.

Wonder what he'll say about his mailman if he starts direct selling those XXX titles under the proposed "Code Blue" moniker.

Looks like Code Red now has a big cartel site for direct sale titles. I'm a little miffed because Ghostkeeper would have been a few dollars cheaper had I gone this route.

EDIT: Nevermind, I got my answer. All titles available now. Severed Arm was pulled due to it being a cut print. The prices are nice, but the shipping sucks. I was hoping for a flat $15 on titles like these, especially for standard-def dvd.

Really? After calculating the shipping for 1 DVD, the total price is $21.49, approx 50 cents more than the $21 I Paypalled Bill for Ghostkeeper.

I mean he is selling direct, bigcartel is free as long as you stay under 5 titles, so he is making $20 profit on all releases. I thought the point of selling direct was to cutout all the middle men and get it to the consumer for cheap?

1. He's running a business and most businesses have more of an interest in charging what they can for things, maxing out a profit instead of trying to get movies into the hands of consumers for cheap. It's like when everyone thought gas would be cheap because we got Iraq. No, why would they suddenly drop the price to reduce profits(bad example but you should see the point).

2. He's not making $20 profit because you have to include all the other costs of the business. Getting the film license, manufacturing, web site, shipping, shipping supplies, etc.

Just saying.

I have received all of the orders I placed at the big cartel site, very fast shipping (less than a week), pressed, not burned, discs. You will not get a shipping email, other than the confirmation from PayPal immediately after payment. I only wish more titles were available by this method. Amazon/eBay resellers are taking advantage of the situation and driving up prices.

You sure? I can't find most of the titles being sold at either place? For what I have found, prices aren't being driven up at all. Ghostkeeper is slightly higher at Amazon but if you take into account all the fees when something is sold, they aren't really making anything.
