Spider-Man 60's cartoon series
Does anyone know has this gone out of print? I just looked it up on Amazon.com and it was only available used and new, and the lowest price was $99.90.

Bruce Banner, does that make you angry?

I bought this when it first came out and ended up selling it on eBay a few days later. Although I could have probably doubled my money if I held onto it, it was really just too terrible to keep.

I always put off buying this set, That and Boy meets world season 3, And now they are both Out of Print.

This is why I always try to buy DVD's on release day. You maybe able to get some things cheaper down the road, but if you wait too long, they're virtually impossible to get.

It's a nice little show with an obvious limited budget but I am glad to have it. I bought it when I first found out it was going out of print. Check your local Best Buys...that's where I got mine. Various ones had lots of copies in-store even once it had gone out of print.

The Canadian releases contain episodes from the 90's Spidey Animated series, not the 60's series.

I don't know how you guys are hating on this set.
I thought it still holds up. I let a friend of mine show it to their 5 yr. old and loves it.
It's the best Spidey cartoon there is and there have been many.

Uh...nope. '60s. And '90s. And '80s.
And '70s, if Spider-Woman counts.

I had some of these vhs tapes. Prism was the manufacturer and the quality was horrible. Glad to see they are still using the old artwork- sans the little limited edition , and spiderman 90's logo.

I loved the Spider Man cartoon from the 60's. It really captured the spirit (in a simplified form) of the Steve Ditko era of the Amazing Spider Man comics. Well, the first season did. The 2nd and 3rd seasons were pretty....weird. Ralph Bakshi pretty much ruined the series. How they let him do that I'll never know.
But the first season was just a lot of fun. Great stuff.

Ditto on the quality. That complete series set put out by Buena Vista had a huge restoration project done to the original negatives. These Prism VHS releases will show you just how bad many of the transfers used to be prior to the clean-up. Shame TVShowsonDvd don't warn the people of that...
