It was released in 1980. It is 2010, hence it's 30th anniversery. Smells like a rerelease is in the works for later this year, IMO.

I don't think the Weinstein Company's No Mercy for the Rude was ever released. It was one of the titles that they said was going to get a Dragon Dynasty release, but was delayed.

The Criterion titles that criterion lost to Studio Canal (Lionsgate) are NOT on this week's out of print list. Maybe next week?
Those titles like Grand Illusion, Forbidden Games, The Fallen Idol, Pierrot Le Fou, and many others (about 30 overall) are becoming scarce to unavailable on Amazon.com and Criterion.com If you want any of those titles you better act fast. I wonder when/if they will show up on this list here?

Wow. First the lists get shorter then nothing to report, the demise of DVD is nearly here.... or at least has begun. Though I expect new release DVDs for a few more years.

If it were the demise of DVD, we would get mile-long lists every week. Sure, lot of titles are OOP, but there's also a lot that's currently available.
