Need Confirmation Regarding Hell's Kitchen

I'm considering to buy Hell's Kitchen Season 1 - one thing I didn't see if it would included Closed Caption. I have been to Amazon.com, Deep Discount, and several other DVD shop sites and it didn't say if it's closed caption.

People who own it, can you check to see if it included closed caption?

Much appreciated!

Doesn't look good. I took a gander at the back cover over at dvdempire.com and there is no mention of CC.

That's why I wanted to ask whoever that own that DVD to confirm it.

I thought about getting this since it's uncensored. Could be fun.

Since it was already captioned for broadcast I can't see why they wouldn't include it.

It should, but it's a special uncensored - it's very likely it won't include closed caption. I just need a confirmation - I don't want to buy it and turned out it has no closed caption. I'm already pissed off at Warner Brothers for not include closed caption on 300 and the recently Harry Potter DVD that I bought. I don't want to waste my money on Hell's Kitchen Season 1 if it turned out it has no closed caption.

I NetFlixed the first disc of the first season a while ago, no CC. Still hard to believe that in this day and age, there are DVDs still being released without any CC/SDH subtitles for us deafies.

That sucks! I never seen any of Hell's Kitchen previous season and just started this season. Thanks, crabbit for checking it out for me.

I just watched Perfect Stranger (TV series) last night and guess what? No closed caption! Just subtitles (which only show in one place).

I guess this whole HD thingy really ruined everything. -rolleyes-

Why didn't you use the subtitle tracks then?

EDIT: Nevermind, I see now. Still though, I find it odd to prefer CC over subtitles.

Because closed caption will place on certain place where spoken character stood and subtitle don't. If two characters talk at same time, the subtitle will show like this:

-Blah blah blah
-Yeah, blah blah

You won't know which said that. I was lost when I first watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix because I couldn't follow the movie very well. If you turned on SDH, it would show:

[Harry:]
Blah blah blah, Hermione, you're fucking hot.

[Hermione:]
Oh, Harry, fuck off.

That kind is similar with closed caption's narrative and it's annoying.

With all fancy technology we have and they CAN'T put closed caption in it!
