I was eying that R2 release. I'm happy with the R1 release but I LOVE the artwork for that new disc.

xcore - is there any inherent benefit the European counterparts have over the Panik House releases?

I've always figured that most folks used the "Keep track of your 2008 spending" thread for that. At least on the few occasions I've checked it out, that was the format. Not a bad suggestion though.

I think people are a lot more apt to post here. You see the thread and can quickly post your last purchase. The spending thread, while an awesome idea, has a few dedicated people and a lot of people who start a post/list then give up at some point during the year.

Without helpful information for others, what is the purpose of this thread? Look at me! I bought this! ?

Pretty much. What people post in this thread is their personal preference. Some like to keep it simple and just list titles. Others like to post pics of what they've picked up. Neither one is right and neither one is wrong. Personally, I don't check this thread for prices. That's what I use the bargain forum for. I like to use this simply to see what my fellow members have picked up. Sometimes just seeing a title listed by several different members is enough to arouse my curiosity and get me looking into it.

Nope. The Panik House releases are both slightly better in the A/V department and they feature audio commentaries.

Reason I went for the R2 releases of those is because Sex & Fury (R1) is out of print. Even though The Female Yakuza Tale (R1) isn't, I thought I'd get the R2 to match

Also getting them for around $12 shipped a piece to the U.S wasn't too bad.

Yeah, I knew S&F was long OOP, but still, excellent price considering. It's about what I paid for my own set of translucent PH releases. The aftermarket prices on those now are absolutely ridiculous! Although the Female Yakuza Tale finale is truly priceless. Anyway, thanks for the quick info. You got PM btw ...

****

Ordered

Bruce Lee Complete Collection - IVL/Fortune Star release (best SD set available)
Russ Meyer Boxset (thanks for the reminder X)
