There's two films I've bought three times, but I only own the more recent version:
Night of the Living Dead: 30th Anniversary (I didn't know at the time!), Elite, Elite Millennium Edition
Re-Animator: Elite, Millennium Edition, Anchor Bay
Evil Dead will join: Elite, BOTD, Ultimate Edition at some point (already sold Elite, will keep BOTD and UE)

The double dips where I still own two copies are:
Daredevil (Theatrical, DC), Elektra (Theatrical, DC), Punisher (Theatrical, DC), Spider-Man 2 (2, 2.1), X-Men (1, 1.5), A Nightmare on Elm Street (boxset, Infinifilm), Saw (Theatrical, 'Uncut'), Saw II (Theatrical, Unrated), Saw III (Unrated, DC)

And the double dips where I only own one copy is too many to list here.

No surprise, many of us double-dip on the same things.

Briefly, it was Kingdom of Heaven. I had the original, the extended, and the BD. I never opened the extended version DVD and when I got the BD I decided to watch it. I promptly fell asleep. Tried again. Asleep again. So I traded it.

I've got a ton of movies where I have more than one version, but none where I have three.

I'm on my third version of The Prince Bride. I stayed away from getting the 20th Anniversary Edition - still have the Dread Pirate edition.

If and when it comes to Blu-Ray that will be #4.

I guess you mean titles you have more than one copy of.

So.....here's my list.

Shag - The Movie ( 2 copies - I love this one.)
Li'l Abner (1958 musical. 2 copies)
Stay Hungry (I was an extra in the movie so I wanted a duplicate.)
Footloose (most recent from Walmart at $5 and has commentary. Maybe I will try and sell the one I bought years ago and paid almost $20 for.)

Maybe a few more - I'll have to check my inventory list.

2001: A Space Odyssey

Going all the way back...

VHS
Remember when MGM packed its tapes in actual boxes with plastic liners, not just cardboard slip covers?

Laserdisc
CLV Criterion - my first laserdisc.
MGM CAV Special Edition

DVD
Non-anamorphic MGM disc - One of my first DVDs (before I knew better)
Anamorphic Warner re-issue
Recent 2-disc set.

...and I will almost certainly be making it one of my first few Blu-rays.

I'm militantly anti-double dip. In a collection of over 400, I've double-dipped only 6 times:

Copland - regular and Director's Cut
LOTR:FOTR - two-disc edition and EE set
The Warriors - regular and Director's Cut
Ben-Hur - snapper and 4-disc SE
Blade Runner - snapper and 4-disc CE
Dances with Wolves - 2-disc SE and 4-disc Korean leatherbook

I have never triple- or more dipped. Now that I have an HDTV finally, I'll probably start to double-dip a bit more on movies I like from my collection that aren't anamorphic.
