If it has closed-captioning and/or English subtitles, I'm gettin' it. The first release had neither, which made it impossible for a deaf individual like myself to enjoy the film.

Can I ask, what is the difference between closed-captioning and subtitles? Honestly not trying to break your balls here, I've heard them used interchangeably, but also as different terms. Can anyone explain to me? It would be appreciated.

Closed-Captioned adds a lot more of the description to the movie--what's going on in the movie both visibly AND what is not visible--than just subtitles. For example, you hear a door opening off screen, but subtitles wouldn't mention this happening. So, in the movie, you would see something like [Door opens] or similar. In a drama, instead of simply showing what a person is saying, it would also include [moaning] or [sighing] to convey the atmosphere of the movie and the tone of the person talking.

This is one good movie about war.

I like the cover hmm.. The original dvd release had no features except a trailer. I may pick it up if it releases on blu.

Hmmm will definately check this out, haven't seen it in years though

this is one of the most historically accurate war films ever made...

and the movie looks exactly like it did in the old news reels...

i've seen many of those news reels... including the interviews at the base of the hill shown in the film... while the fighting was going... films of the combat...

they did a great job on this one...
