OK WB will be showcasing some great cheap Eastwood Triple Features this May.
It is important to not that the Features and Aspect Ratios have not yet been reveled although since its WB it can be hit-or-miss. If WS Count me in.
List Price is $19.97 (probably available around $10 if you find the right sales)for the 4 Triple Features Listed Below:

*Triple Feature #1: Crime
-Blood Work
-Absolute Power
-True Crime

*Triple Feature #2: Family (or at least as close as Clint Came to making family films I guess...)
-Every Which Way But Loose
-Any Which Way You Can
-Honkytonk Man

*Triple Feature #3: Cop
-Firefox
-The Guantlet
-The Rookie

*Triple Feature #4: War
Heartbreak Ridge

Where Eagles Dare

Also available on 5/13/08 is a triple Feature box Set of Clint's Directorial Best Picture Efforts called "Essential Directors: Clint Eastwood ". This has a list price of $23.97 and features the following:
Mystic River (nominated for Best Picture)
Unforgiven
Million Dollar Baby

Kinda expected to see a western themed box set with Pale Rider and OUtlaw Josey Wales in here. Maybe Next time.

For some strange reason it appears that the "War" and "Crime" sets were canceled or pulled or discontinued or something. I had them wishlists on DVD sites and they have either disappeared or now say Discontinued. This kinda sucks. I ordered the Cop and Family sets but I really wanted the others to buy at DD.com espescially the Crime set cause thats the only set in which i dont currently own one of the films in the set. Has anyone seen these at any stores or have any info on why they pulled these?

I saw the Every Which Way But Loose One the other day. I really wish they had put Bronco Billy on there with EWWBL and AWWYC. BB just seems like it has the same feel as those movies. Definitely more so than Honkytonk Man. And BB is definitely a family/kids picture.

I thought the exact same thing. Also, I already have Honkytonk man on the Triple Feature they released last year that also had City Heat and Pink Cadillac on it.

I've always thought EWWBL and AWWYC deserve a two disc, double-feature set with a few extras to make it interesting (perhaps a brief featurette or two and/or a commentary by James Fargo). Sure, they're some of Clint's more . . . off-beat hits, but I love them, particularly the somewhat darker EWWBL.
