Okay something is wrong with my Transformers

I just bought the two disc a couple weeks ago, and the second disc has never been played. Ever. So I decide to give it a go. I just now put it in, it goes through the piracy warnings yada yada yada and then to the main menu. Then it shits its pants. Anything I press 'enter' for after that goes back to the menu. I think I can hear it reading the disc; the menu freezes, then it boots back again. I can't access anything. Is there such thing as a bad disc? What ever shall I do? Of the many dvds I have I've never had this come up....

try playing it in your computer's hard drive/another DVD player first. If that doesn't work, contact the studio about a replacement-- studios tend to be pretty willing to replace factory-faulty discs

Check the disc for scratches or dust. As stated above, try it in another player.

If it doesn't work, try boiling it. There's a huge thread about it and it does work... most of the time.

You shouldn't have to boil a dvd though. Try taking it back, as a last resort - boil it (I guess).

Okay I just put it in my laptop. Works like a charm. No problems at all (besides the fact that I have a crappy video card and what not and doesn't look quite well). So is it a dvd player problem on my tv?

Also, I liked the Michael Bay cameo easter egg. Wish it would not have gotten cut though.

Sounds like it might be a player problem. Which one do you have?

It's a toshiba dvd player. Built into my tv (small silver, maybe 14in?). The one in my dorm is a pioneer and it always works, but I have never had trouble with my toshiba one! I'm watching Heroes now. It has to be the transformers disc.
