I don't understand why they are though. It would make more sense if they released a DVD on him once he's had a few more years and more matches under his belt in TNA. This seems like a quicky cash in scheme by TNA, though it's most likely going to flop, since Angle's tenure there hasn't been all that great.

On the other hand, the WWE should have released a DVD on him. All we got was a VHS on him a year or so into his career, and though that was good, it doesn't do him justice.

Take it for what it is worht since this is also the same company that said the 3 Original DVDs will never be released again except for the $100 deal with autographs.....only to release them a few months after for $20 each. Thats TNA for you. Vince Russo screws us out of good matches with his screwjob finishes and stupid storylines and Don West screws us on deals via his specials. FUCKIN TNA.

WWE probably would have released a "Best of" set towards the end of his career, like they've done with Undertaker and HBK. With Angle, there were so many matches to pick from, it wouldn't even have been funny. They would have to make a 6-disc set to cover all his greats. As for his "best" in TNA, here's what I guess they'll showcase:

-vs. Abyss - iMPACT - November 2006
-vs. Samoa Joe - Genesis 2006
-vs. Samoa Joe - Final Resolution 2007
-vs. Samoa Joe vs. Christian Cage vs. Chris Harris vs. AJ Styles - KOTM Match - Slammiversary 2007
-vs. Abyss - No Surrender 2007
-vs. Sting - iMPACT - November 2007

But yeah, I agree. They really should wait. TNA is so excited to have Angle there that they just want to produce a DVD for mainstream attention.

WWE.com has a listing for the Hardyz DVD this year:

Disc 1 The Matt Hardy Story

Matt Hardy was born to wrestle—from his earliest days in homemade rings he and his brother created through his unbelievable matches on WWE SmackDown. The road to the top wasn’t always smooth, including some behind-the-scenes battles with other superstars that spilled into the ring. This DVD tells Matt’s complete story, and collects some amazing matches.

Matches include:
OMEGA Wrestling Tag Team Title Match
The Hardy Boyz vs. The Serial Thrillaz
No DQ; No Count Out Match: Matt Hardy vs. Kane

Steel Cage Match: Matt Hardy vs. Edge

Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Matt Hardy vs. Joey Mercury

Matt Hardy vs. Mr. Kennedy

Disc 2 The Jeff Hardy Story

Jeff Hardy has ascended from one of the top tag teams in WWE history to a wildly popular singles star with the WWE Championship in his sight. This DVD examines his colorful career in and out of the ring, including his recent spectacular success on Raw.

Matches include:
The Hardy Boyz vs. The Dudleys

Intercontinental Title Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H

Steel Cage Match for the Intercontinental Championship Jeff Hardy vs. Johnny Nitro

Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Jeff Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin

World Tag Team Title Match
The Hardys vs. Cade & Murdoch

Winner Gets WWE Championship Title Shot
at Royal Rumble: Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H

Steel Cage Match: Jeff Hardy vs. Umaga

***********************************
Kick ass to have anything from OMEGA on a WWE disc...Extermely excited about that...As for the rest of the disc, it isn't too bad...The Matt disc looks like they just pulled random matches togther that mean nothing in his career like Mercury and Kennedy (Although I'm glad to have the MITB Qualifiers). The Jeff disc is alright, but again, such random matches....I'm glad to finally have the IC title match against Trips.

looks good, wonder which Hardyz/Dudleys match they will put, my guess is the Tables match from RR2000.

I always wanted the first Edge/Christian vs Hardys match from King of the Ring 1999 on DVD, i remember watching it on ppv and thought it was awesome!

I just read this on WWE.com, and I think it looks pretty nice. I've only started watching WWE again in 2003, so it's tough for me to pick which matches are essentials, but I will point out what I really like:

-The nodq, no count-out match was really good. Very under-rated.
-It's always bugged me not having the steel cage match with Edge, because I have their match at SummerSlam, but Unforgiven 2005 was a terrible pay-per-view.
-Any match with Kennedy is a good one.
-Nice to see both big matches with HHH on there.
-Jeff Hardy vs. Shelton Benjamin...nuff said.
-The match with Umanga was really awesome. Made me an instant Hardy mark.

I'm curious which match they picked with Cade & Murdoch, they had quite a few good ones.

Any word from anyone what the other 6 matches on the Triple H DVD will be?

Here are a few pictures of my recent WWE DVDs, UMDs and CDs that I have received. I posted the pictures of the Raw music CD seeing as though the UK version is exactly the same in content as the "Exclusive" Walmart version in the States.

WWE Limited Edition Action Collection UK Exclusive (DVDs and Books)

WWE UK HBK DVD Set

WWE UK No Mercy 07 And Cyber Sunday 07 DVDs

WWE UK Exclusive Divas UMD For PSP

WWE Raw 15th Anniversary Music US Walmart Exclusive and UK Release

So how much of the match is shown between Austin/HHH Vs. Y2J/Benoit? Does the DVD show the whole match? How much of the actual match is shown? Last five mins only?

We need the Jeff Hardy/Undertaker Match from a couple years ago. Is that on any WWE DVD?

its packaged with Cause Stone Cold Said So. I guess its worth it for people who don't have it and want the full Hart/Austin Submission match from WM13 since the one on the Bret DVD had audio sync problems.

What was the issue? Because I got the DVD about a month or two after it came out, and I honestly don't remember any problemos.

I wish I could find a copy of the Raw CD with the Wal-Mart exclusive bonus tracks. All the Wal-Marts near me seem to only have the regular edition now.

the audio sync is about 2 seconds off from the video. You'd see a move, then 2 seconds later you'd hear the sound of it and then the pop of the crowd. Very annoying.

All Bret Hart DVDs have that problem. In fact it was reported on these internet news sites around the time it was released.

I got my copy of the "Stone Cold" set this morning, unfortunetly, my BestBuy didn't really have much of a selection for the sale. I'd like to get at least one or two more sets before the sale is over.
