Firefly is the only one I can think of that I also own.

Is that the one that used Deltron 3030's "Positive Contact" instrumental as the theme song?

I'm still waiting for MTV's Austin Stories to hit DVD. It probably never will.

Mission Hill is a pretty terrific animated show. Like King of the Hill, it's humor comes purely from the characters and not too much on cheap sight gags which are prevalent in pretty much every animated comedy these days. Plus the art style is very unique.

Lucky Louie is also a good one. I made a comment previous. If you like the show Rescue Me you will enjoy the Job.

Firefly, Threshold, and Harsh Realm.

I got both Freaks and Geeks & Wonderfalls as blind buys and both lost me about half way through. Awesome early episodes but very week endings for both IMO. For now on I'm going to be very selective when buying cancelled TV shows.

Kolchak: The Night Stalker. I'd be happier without the dual layer/2-sided discs...but it is amazing to have these!

For one season shows on DVD add:
American Gothic
Eerie, Indiana

A.V. Club had an article about "One-Season Wonders" a while back. Unsurpisingly, a lot of show on their list have already been mentioned here:

Be sure to read the comments on that article.

The lack of love for American Gothic is disturbing. What is it, me and one other person mentioning it so far?

The show was OK, but trust me - read the books. It really made me wonder why they felt they had to stray so far from the great original material that Jim Butcher wrote.

Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared are my top two, but I also liked The Comeback. The show "Significant Others" is sold in a two-season set but each season is only one disc, about 6 or so episodes so it feels like only one season. And yes, it's very sharp and funny.

American Gothic (refreshingly dark)
Firefly (great show coupled with idiotic network)
Freaks and Geeks (a classic)
Invasion (nice atmosphere, solid potential)
My So-called Life (another classic)
Point Pleasant (yeah, yeah, I know it got widely panned, but I liked it)
Profit (another refreshingly dark show)
Surface (I liked this a little better than Invasion, actually)
Wonderfalls (wonderfully quirky and smart)

Read all the books and love them. Hoping if I can get enough of the DVD sets sold they might be convinced to bring the series back ;-)

Make that three of us. I only mentioned deltas to the original list, but shows like American Gothic and Firefly are no-brainers.

I'd like to see Andy Richter Controls the Universe on DVD.

I can't believe I forgot that one! Definitely one of my favorites too. Also Voyagers!, which has held up much better than I thought it would.

I agree with all of these:

Freaks and Geeks
Point Pleasant
Invasion
Firefly
The Lone Gunmen
Greg the Bunny

and didn't the State only run for one season?

As for American Gothic, i netflixed the first disc recently and wasn't impressed.

edit: I also thought Birds of Prey was a good deal of fun.

Birds Of Prey
The Hat Squad - killed after 11 episodes; and even more frustrating, at least one unaired.
