Most Watched TV On DVD Sets
I'm just wondering what everyone's most watched TV On DVD sets are. Let's give our top 5.
Mine would have to be: 1. The Office Season 2 2. Friends Season 6 3. Family Guy Vol. 1 4. South Park Season 5 5. Boy Meets World Season 3 (don't laugh) |
Gilmore Girls
How I Met your Mother Queer as Folk |
West Wing
Office UK - Both series and the special |
I generaly only watch TV sets once or twice. The ones I've watched the most (by far) in decending order:
Firefly Shield Rescue Me Sopranos South Park Family Guy |
Stella by the widest margin
|
TV on DVD is my favorite. I have over twenty shows I collect, but my top ten favorites to rewatch are:
Twin Peaks CSI: Crime Scene Investigation CSI: Miami (especially seasons 3-5) The Shield Miami Vice (especially seasons 2 and 4) The Sopranos (especially seasons 3 and 4) Homicide: Life on the Street (especially seasons 3-6) Nip/Tuck The Wire Veronica Mars |
I'm currently watching Lost season 1. It will be the 3rd time through. I watch all season's prior to the next one. Next will be Lost season 2, 2nd time.
Other than Lost the only other ones I rewatch semi-regularly are: South Park Family Guy |
I love watching TV on DVD but rarely, if ever, do I watch them more than once. Mostly due to the fact I have so many I haven't gotten through all the ones I haven't seen yet. The ones I know I'll re-watch one day for a fact are probably: Twin Peaks, The X-Files, Miami Vice (S1/S2), The Sopranos and maybe a couple others.
|
I have 125 DIFFERENT shows on DVD, for a total of over 300 actual TV-on-DVDs, and I have to say my most watched are:
The X-Files Friends None of the others even come close... |
My So-Called Life
Wonderfalls Firefly Freaks and Geeks Sports Night Serial Experiments Lain (if anime counts) There's something about these short lasted shows that always leaves me wanting more of the show, so I revisit them again and again. |
In no specific order
Friends Will and Grace Everybody Loves Raymond Seinfeld Really would love to add the following to my collection and start as well: Kings of Queens |
I have so many TV on DVD titles, that it is/will be very rare that I would watch them multiple times. However, I have watched:
Arrested Development (all seasons) Babylon 5 (all seasons) Aqua Teen Hunger Force (all available volumes) twice each. I know that I will probably watch Arrested Development about once every 2 years or so. Other titles that I am going to go back for round 2 this next year: All the Star Trek series Stargate SG-1 Futurama Family Guy |
Mr. Show With Bob & Dave - By far my most watched TV only b/c my friends are constantly popping it in just to watch their favorite sketches.
Spaced - Most watched for me b/c soooo many people have never seen this so I'm always having people over to watch it. Arrested Development - Every time I watch it I find new favorite lines or bits. Farscape - My all-time fav TV show. Then just a bunch of shows are all tied, that I never get sick of, Angel, Sandbaggers, Monty Python, Veronica Mars Futurama & a ton more. |
Friday Night Lights
Dawson's Creek Little House on the Prairie One Tree Hill 90210 |
Six Feet Under
The Golden Girls Mr. Bean Fawlty Towers Arrested Development The Office (UK & US) |
Seinfeld
Friends Gilmore Girls The Simpsons The Office |
in alphabetical order:
Are You Being Served Friends Mad About You Sports Night Will & Grace |
Freaks & Geeks
The King of Queens King of The Hill Buffy the Vampire Slayer South Park |
If I had no other DVDs I think I could just run through Babylon 5 over and over again and not get tired of it for quite some time. That and Sports Night have each received the most viewings in my collection. Outside of those two the following seem to draw me back more frequently than others:
Firefly The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. Arrested Development Frasier Veronica Mars |
Newsradio
Arrested Development The Simpsons Futurama The Office (US) |
The Prisoner (the Network 40th Anniversary Edition R2 convinced me to go multi-region)
Danger Man The Shield Smallville Monty Python's Flying Circus |
I've got tons of TV on DVD, but I'd have to say my top 5 of most watched would be...
1. Buffy The Vampire Slayer (currently re-watching the series now) 2. Babylon 5 3. Roswell 4. Firefly 5. The O.C. ..I've watched all of these complete series at least 3 or more times through. |
The Simpsons Seasons 4 to 7
|
I'd have to say the first season of 24. Even though there's nothing substantial in the way of special features (they couldn't have sprung for the deleted footage peppered into the syndication airings that air on A&E?), it's still an awesome thrill ride. You just want to watch one episode after another.
|
I have a lot of TV on DVD, but the ones I have seen the most are
The Shield Entourage |
| All times are GMT -5. The time now is 10:21 AM. |
