That's the typical difference for a movie that has/had box office receipts vs a direct-to-dvd release.....a movie that's been at theaters often has a lower (and more likely to be reduced at point of purchase) MSRP.

I picked it up for $19.99 at Wal-Mart.

Despite the title only running 64 minutes, the disc contains an additional 90 minutes worth of material on top of that. Two documentaries totaling 45 minutes (about the making of 2.5 and the game) along with 45 minutes of more deleted footage.

The package is worth a look if you're a fan of Jackass, but I don't think it's $20 worth. The title may be the closest to mainstream gay porn that straight adolescent males will purchase.

For those of you who have the DVD, is it me or does the transfer out right suck? The bonus material looks much better than the actual feature itself.

I love the series but this one was pretty lame IMHO. Not nearly as many funny segments as the previous movies. It's worth renting if you are a fan but only a completist would need to own it.

2.5's running time is way too short but still packs a lot of laughs.

I'm a big fan of Jackass and have bought pretty much everything related (even the PS2 game), and thought 2.5 is good but not great. Worth it for the true fan, but the casual fan might want to rent it first.

Thankfully I wasn't the one that bought this. Very short, not very funny at all and all of those should have been cut from the movie.

This is basically an overly long extra and not something you should pay $20 for.

i enjoyed it, got it buy 2 get 1 free at Borders. with a gift card i had from an exchange.

thought lots of the skits would have worked in movie, but this was nice addition.

Are there two different covers for the DVD? All the pics I've seen online have Steve-O and Pontius naked but covering up, but the DVD I have has them both semi-clothed.

I'll watch anything Jackass related, so yea I liked it. Was shocked to see 90 minutes of additional footage too.

But yea, as Matt mentioned, I could have done without the numerous cock shots of the gang.

Still, I laughed my ass off when the question "Is there shit on there?" was asked.

I thought it was funny at times, and I loved seeing more info about bits/gags that happened in the other films ("Bam's bad day", etc), but I wish I'd waited 6 months and picked it up for $5 or $6. 'Cause that's exactly where this one is headed. It's a super-long extra.
