samurai collection (sonny chiba) ?

Does anyone know if this 3-disc samurai collection from BCI/Eclipse:

contains the same discs as released before by Adnes/Ventura? I'm asking in particular about the G.I.Samurai disc:

If the discs are different, can you compare the video quality on both versions of G.I.Samurai?

Sorry for this rather exotic inquiry but I know this movie has a sizeable group of devoted fans so I hoped somebody might own both versions.
