Groundhog Day (15Th Anniversary Edition)= 1/29/08
 

Saw this over at Columbiahouse.com It doesn't really say what all will be new on this edition except for what is supposedly a new documentary. Hopefully we will get Bill Murray involvement this time for what is probably one of the best comedy films of all time.

I am not very hopeful about him being a part of this but if they improve at all upon the SE that is already out there I will be picking this up.

Nice. Never did pick-up any of the previous editions. Hopefully a SE of Scrooged will follow sometime soon.

I love this movie, but I've already double-dipped on it. I doubt they'll come up with anything new that'll get me to triple-dip.

So an interview with Ramis and a featurette on Marmots looks to be the only new features (are the deleted scenes new as well?).
Um...ok, a documentary on Marmots. hmmm....

No, the Ramis commentary is on the SE. I think I'll stick with the SE unless there's some kind of picture/audio remastering...

I was never a fan on groundhog day...Bill murry was great in it but blah i'll pass.

Irony is when Groundhog Day has double-dips.

Overkill but it's typical Sony release 50 versions of one title while ignoring barebone titles

the current SE is more than enough
great movie but the new SE is just a lame excuse of a re-release

Huge fan of the movie, but is this really worth a double dip? Depends on the price I guess...

I'll be picking up the SE for $5 or so on black friday...

Where? I don't have this movie and would like to get it if the price was right, and $5 is about right.

This is worth checking out. It's one of Bill Murray's more entertaining flicks.

I'll second that. This movie is one of my favorites, but the current SE is good enough for me.
