People! Did you not see that "deleted scenes" are going to be included in this new set?! That's way more than the price of admission, as I thought that terrible SE a few years back was, well, terrible. I never picked up this film...until January 29, 2008!

We're there, dude! Deleted scenes, wow, man.

I have found deleted scenes are definitely YMMV. Most of the time you see why they wound up on the cutting floor and they are not really interesting enough to watch again.

Hopefully I will find a place that rents it because I'd like to see this for myself before deciding to buy it. I'd more more intrigued if Ramis felt the need to put the scenes back in the movie for an extended cut.

I'll recycle this lame joke

Groundhog Day is my 6th favorite film. And 7th, and 8th, and 9th.....

But seriously, I'm in. GD is in my top 20.

So we gain a featurette about marmots, an interview with Harold Ramis and some deleted scenes, and we lose DTS, Trailers, and Production Notes?

That doesn't sound like much of an upgrade to me. Thanks for another lame cash-grab, Sony.

DTS has never been present on Groundhog Day. Even if it was listed, it was not available.

This is my favourite movie of all time and I will buy it eventually but wow... they really aren't offering much new. I can't believe Bill Murray won't do a commentary for this, it's really disappointing.

Not surprising that Murray wouldn't do a commentary but how about Andie MacDowell, Chris Elliott and/or Stephen Tobolowsky.

I have never printed out a custom cover for any DVD but if this DVD was much of an upgrade then I would certainly be breaking down and changing that horrid cover "art".

This movie needs the type of cover that only Criterion would give it. It's one of the best films of the 90s, and one of my favorite films of all time.

Please tell me you made that yourself as a joke. If not, wow. Just wow.

I see they airbrushed Bill Murray's face.

I was in such a mood to watch this movie yesterday. I don't have the DVD yet, so I opted for this:

That cover now officially made the list along with Real Genius, Better Off Dead, Trading Places and Revenge of the Nerds: Panty Raid Edition as the worst hack jobs I've ever seen. Jesus, what graphic design reject threw that horrid thing together? I could make a better cover using a black & white photocopy of my ass...

Wow. Awful cover art. Agreed that with not much new, I don't see any reason to double-dip here.

How about ONE decent version of Three Amigos rather than 9 versions of Groundhogs Day. And as others have said, there is not much more there for extras.

I never picked up the SE (still have the original flipper release from 1998) so I think it's time for an upgrade.

Forget Better Off Dead. this cover is just plain atrocious. There is nothing even mildly good-looking, likable or appealing about it. This is by far the worst DVD cover I've ever seen for a major studio, well-known movie.

That art is bad, but nowhere near as bad as Real Genius.

That truly is one of the worst covers ever... And yes, I think it is worse than Real Genius.

Why is Bill Murry's face melting?

I'm scared mommy...
