DVD Talk Ultimate Edition
Mission Impossible: Season 3
Slow week for me this week in a long time, it's mind-boggling! I just spend a lot of money on DVD shelves, so one slow week isn’t going to kill me. I bought one DVD Cabinet that holds 448 DVDs, two DVD Towers that hold 160 DVDs each and one small tower that holds 85 DVDs; all in black.
I'll post pics in the Post pics of your DVD collection and HT thread when I'm all finished cleaning up the living room.

(1) G-Men v The Black Dragon - As with Sessa 17 above, I am really looking forward to this. A major release of one of the key 1940s Republic serials, directed by the great William Witney.
(2) The Lady Vanishes - A film with many releases, none entirely satisfactory. I hope Criterion have found a suitably good film element this time. Certainly the extras inspire hope for a solid release.
(3) Film Noir: Five Classics from the Studio Vaults - A nice cheap boxset of several previously release Kino efforts including the only decent version of Fritz Lang's Scarlet Street (with commentary), They Made me a Fugitive, Contraband (directed by Michael Powell), The Hitch Hiker and Anthony Mann's Strange Impersonation (the best of his early films, though I do love Two O'Clock Courage.)
(4) May pick up the Gene Autry films at some point if money permits.
