Great work, Chad. I had a blast my first time doing this. I always have a horror marathon on Halloween anyway, but never all October. It was awesome. Nice touch adding the quirky comments too by the way. Peace Fright Fiends!

Thanks for taking the time to do this Chad! I'm certainly not a well known poster around here, but it's always fun to participate in something like this with fellow dvd fans. Like I said, I had a blast and can't wait till next year!

I'd like to thank the Academy...no, wait...I mean Chad. As always, this was great fun and I thank you for continuing to do this year after year.
For me, I don't think I will ever reach such cinema viewing heights again until maybe I'm 80 with only the minutes ticking me towards death and my DVD collection to keep me company. It was taxing and I'm still feeling it a week later. I am the opposite of Fusion, though. I don't want to watch another film until...at least next week. I mean, there are trees and nature out there, right?

Great job all. Sorry I didn't post a list but the wife got pregnant and I took over more domestic duties. I think I squeezed in about 5, inc. watching Mad Monster Party with my 2 1/2 year old daughter.

I really enjoyed doing this again, although I didn't top my total from last year. I did a bad job of planning my movie watching time and thus petered out toward the end. Next year I'll put some effort into working out a schedule and hopefully do better than I did this year. Still won't stand a chance of winning, however. I can only sit and watch movies for so long without doing something else to break it up.
I'd also like to thank Chad for all the work he does in keeping this going year after year.

Nevertheless, I'm sticking by my word by lifting my "No rerun clause" next time. Let's see if that still manages to cross the 100 mark!

Fun again, I really am going to do 31 in 31 days next year. I've said that 3 straight years.
I'm going to have to be honest with my wife, and tell her I have a competition, and thus I have to compete (although it's only myself based upon the numbers people put up)
I hope more people can add summaries or thoughts per movie next year, that's the part I enjoy the most. Just seeing what others think of these movies. Plus it helps me decide whether or not to pick them up as a blind buy.

Awesome work Chad! My list (7) is actually complete. With football, a wedding, and a pile of unwatched DVD's, I didn't get to as many as I had hoped too. There is always next year!

I did not participate in the challenge (I think I only watched 5 movies all of last month). I literally have about 2 hours after work to keep my DVR from overflowing and that's about it.
But... What I wanted to say was that I really enjoyed reading the recap and the comments that were said. Very entertaining. I had been lurking around the Challenge threads all of last month. I simply can't comprehend how someone could watch 100 movies in a month (let alone 333!). Amazing.
I did have one comment about your ranks. If two or more people are tied for a spot, the next spot shouldn't be 1 more than the those who tied, it should skip to the next number that it would actually be. i.e. there are 2 people tied for 17th. The next person should be 19th, not 18th.
Maybe next year I'll aim for something small like 20 or something. I'm sure I have at least 50 Horror DVDs.
