Sleeping Beauty in hi-def should be amazing. Can't wait. Most definitely will be upgrading.

oddly enough i can't seem to find the main thread for the original release. if memory serves there were some animations that got retouched. So it wasn't the original. No complaints, as its a fine dvd, but possibly we may see some restoration that wasn't included in the other release

I would be very interested to revisit this issue. Unfortunately, none of the links to screen captures seem to work anymore. SB was a very wide format on screen and I'm not as surprised as I should that Disney decided to crop the film on DVD in order to make detail more visible. The sad thing is that I didn't notice...
