Got it today and love it. The SE set is awesome. Have to watch the 3D at home on the plasma to see if its better than the LCD at work, didnt seem to work too well. Glad to see the episode is slightly extended from the broadcast version.

The boxset is pathetic. not recommended. Wait for a $4.99 sale of the regular edition

The 3D scene didnt work on my plasma either. Its all blurry or you still see double. Meh, it was a gimmick that didnt work. The rest of the disc is awesome so far.

Has anyone gotten the digital copy to download to iTunes? Yes, I have the newest version 7.6 and when it gets to the end of the download, I get an error "There was a problem downloading "Blue Harvest / Family Guy". An unknown error has occurred (-50)."

Same for my LCD.

Yep! If I didn't have to go to work tomorrow, I would've put in the original Star Wars! Loved the extras. Saving the commentary for later. Great episode. Don't regret buying the special edition at all. Just wish the shirt was a Large (but it does seem to be an XL on the smaller side).

I'm having the same problem. I've tried to download it three times now, but it never works.

I only paid $4 for my SE, so i'm happy.

I like the extras so far, the 3d scene looked kinda messed up on my LCD. I guess ill try it on a regular tube tv later.

But that's a seperate feature, I said the main feature itself. The question I was referring to was about the unrated audio track.

I can't speak for the regular edition release, but the box-set release didn't have choices in audio tracks. As far as I could find, there's only one audio track for the feature with all the swearing intact.

As for the 3-D scene, it looks like it hasn't gone well for plasma and LCD...and now you can chalk up one for DLP. It didn't look good on mine, either.

Good point. I have $5 reward zone and $10 left on a gift card so I can get the gift set for $10!

The 3d is no good to LCD... No alternative choice for the audio track...

And

Can Fox be more "innovative" than having a "digital or should I say computer based video download" special feature

Yeah, that's exactly how the regular edition is.

I'm having a hard time deciding which version I want to buy. The Star Wars nut/collector in me wants the deluxe set, but the conscientious buyer with limited shelf space in me doesn't feel its worth it. Plus once you remove the T-shirt there's just a big gaping space in the box. All the other stuff is crap. I just really like the puffy metallic look of the outer box vs. the plain single disk release.

If the single disk has a similar-looking slipcover, I'd probably have that version by now.

The SE really isn't as big as I thought it was going to be. It's actually the same exact size as the Star Wars Trilogy box set.

I ended up getting the Standard Edition. Pretty much all I wanted out of the Special Edition was the booklet. I didn’t want to pay $12 extra for a 20-page booklet. Does anyone happen to have scans of it so I can see what I’m missing?
