What movie you have to own from your childhood?

I've got the idea from another thread. I dont know if this thread had posted before, but anyway.

What movie have follow you from your childhood and you must have in your collection, just for the memories?

My movies are Ladyhawke, Back to the future trilogy, James Bond collection and an American werewolf in London( scared the shit out of me when I was a child and still does)

Superman 1 & 2, The Goonies, Beetlejuice, Aliens, Ghostbusters to name a few that stick out in my mind. Pretty much the ones I vividly remember seeing when they first came out.

I'd say I've easily got about 16 or so movies that were hardcore childhood favorites; but the one I've got and will never stop holding onto is Ghostbusters II.

Just for the memories? Flight of the Navigator and Short Circuit 2.

Fox and the Hound and An American Tail. I distinctly remember each of these as the first movie I saw with each of my parents when I was about 3-4.

Mostly younger people here I see.

The one that comes to mind for me is "The Roots of Heaven" (1958) with Trevor Howard and Errol Flynn. Loved the scenes with hundreds, if not thousands, of elephants. Will never see them in those numbers again.

Not on DVD yet. I am hoping though.

None. I don't like the same films I did as a child and I don't buy DVDs for the sake of nostalgia.

I would love to own Disney's Song Of The South, that was a favorite of mine when I was young. Unfortunately I don't see Disney ever releasing this movie on dvd, you can find so called import dvds on ebay and sometimes you can find an original VHS but that is about it. I would love to see a nice remastered version.
