Ace of Cakes exclusively at Target
 

I had started a thread about popular reality shows on not-too-popular channels, like DALLAS COWBOY CHEERLEADERS: MAKING THE TEAM on CMT, THE NATALIE GULBIS SHOW on Golf Channel, and ACE OF CAKES on Food Network, but it seems to be gone.

Anyway, Target seems to have ACE OF CAKES: Season 1 exclusively, the way they've had other reality shows like MTV's CARMEN & DAVE: MAKING THE WEDDING.

My wife has watched this show on occasion. If the dvd were cheap enough, she'd probably get it.

I think it was $19.99 when I saw it there last week.

Kinda bumping from the grave... but I was in Target yesterday and picked up Ace of Cakes: Season Two, which I did not even know was coming out. The set was $15.99 and has all 13 season 2 episodes.

Target also has an entire side of one of their DVD racks (where the bargain DVDs are) that is all Food Network. They had a couple more releases that I hadn't seen like...

Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives - Complete Second Season (I need to pick this and the first season [which they also had] next time I go)
Unwrapped - Best of... Volume 1

Along with the usual programs from other Food Network hosts.

Awesome.

I'm really hoping to see Feasting On Assault Season 3 (Feasting On Waves) at Target soon.

I picked up the first season of Ace of Cakes in the clearance end cap at target for $4. The box was slightly crushed. Really enjoyed it. 13 season 2 episodes for $16 sounds good to me. I'll have to pick it up.

Ohhh...I'd like to see more Unwrapped DVDs. Bootlegs of that show have circulated around for a while now...I am surprised it took them this long to get it on DVD.

Going to Target this weekend...I will have to make a point to look for that. Is that a special sale price for this week only though? Or is 14.99 their regular price? Cuz I see a 3 disc set online for twice that amount.

Giada at Home: Season 2 (ewww.)

There might have also been a new volume of Good Eats but the releases of that show just plain confuse me. Waiting for Season Sets in the year 2050 ;)

I have now been to a 3 Targets in my area and they all seem to either be out of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives: Season One or no longer have a space for it on the shelf. I now have seasons 2 and 3 but I really want season 1.

I finally got my Unwrapped set. I never read up on the show, the details and specs...I knew it was three discs, it was Unwrapped, and I wanted it. 'Nuff said! So when I opened it up and saw there were only THREE EPISODES on each disc, I felt gypped! Geez, they could at least get six episodes on one disc?

And best of a season...why not season sets?

YES! YES!! That's all I can say about Good Eats Finally coming out in Season Sets!! All the sets are uniform this round and feature slipcovers (Good Eats is Orange... Ace of Cakes Blue) To boot they're all on sale this week for $14.99

Everytime I go to Target with my gf, we laugh at that guy's goofy face on Ace of Cakes: S1.

Thanks. I ran out and got both seasons of Good Eats. Great show. I hope they release more seasons and that I don't miss them.

I will have to pick up Good Eats, I love that show. I am waiting for Worst Cooks In America and Food Wars (I was in the background in one of the episodes)
