Anyone have any clues, or does this mean maybe their replacing it with the sets with correct cover art? ( I hope!)

I'm not a fan of the new covers - thought they could have used poster art and just called it a day ... but it's nice to have them all on the same approach.

Today I saw a newer version of the box set with corrected "The Shining" spine lettering. It now matches the other movies. Also on the rear of the box "Eyes Wide Shut" does not contain the Restricted rating box.
Does anyone have this newer set? Are the colors in "The Shining" fixed?
Any word on a replacement program yet?

And wouldn't you know...it's messed up.
It's got 2 copies of Clockwork Orange..and is missing The Shining...

So here is the Life In Pictures modified cover for anyone that wants it...
You can download it here

Okay. So is there actually an exchange process through Warner for a correctly colored version of the Shining? If so, does anybody have the address or a phone number to call to inquire about it? I apologize if this has specifically been answered already, but really didn't want to read through the whole thread right now....Thanks.

I picked it up at costco last weekend for the cheap price. Kept Shining and Full metal jacket and sold the rest for $20 to FYE. Glad to finally have FMJ in WS!

Re: Stanley Kubrick Collection discussion (Part II)
I might have said this once before, but Stanley Kubrick framed Eyes Wide Shut in a 4:3 ratio so beautifully, I prefer the fullscreen version. I can't think of any other movie I've ever seen, however, where I would say this. I think 2001 and A Clockwork Orange look much better in widescreen. I could go either way for The Shining, but I hate seeing the helicopter shadow during the opening credits when the shot is unmatted.
