I purchased the 1957 version today from Future Shop. I love digging through the bargin bins. I also picked up the The Professionals (1966).

Nice, one of the best films of the year for me.

I'm disappointed that I missed this movie in the theatre, so this will be a blind buy for sure (either DVD or Blu Ray).
Shame that this didn't do better in theaters. A great film deserving of a much wider audience, IMO.
Blu-ray is totally mine. Loved this one.

There were several sequences of dialogue that were completely lifted from the 1957 movie...not a critique, it shows how much respect the filmmakers had for Halstead Welles original script. The original version is one of the great Western films with its moody, almost noir quality and its hoped this remake will draw some attention to this classic

I'm glad it's coming out so early in the year. This is one that I meant to catch and never did before it left theaters, so I was worried I wouldn't get to see it before Oscar time. It probably won't get any major nominations but it's sure to pick up a few smaller ones.

Sweet. I skipped out on seeing this in theaters (for whatever reason) so I'll be picking this up. I'll buy almost anything Bale is in these days.
sweet...this is probably my fav film of the year so far (aside from Hot Fuzz). i'll definitely be getting this one....i should probably pick up the original someitme too.
something tells me after oscar season this will be getting a better release
Come Oscar time, Bale and Crow both deserve nods. Easily some of the best stuff I've seen in this rather dry year for films, IMO.
a buddy of mine in the New Mexico film industry worked on this...
i really liked this film... excellent... all the way around... excellent... |

Dammit, I'll have to read it tonight again to see. Dammit. |
Blu-ray for me too. If the audio is anything like it was in theaters, should be awesome!
You know...this MIGHT be the title that warrants a Blu-Ray player I've been holding off on for so long. This movie was fantastic!
Amazing flick. DVD for me for sure!

3:10 To Yuma was a damn good film. If it's got any featurettes or deleted scenes, I'll buy it for my mother as a belated Christmas gift.
I don't like Westerns, but it does have two of my favorite actors in it. For someone who doesn't like westerns, would you still recommend? I have to admit I am curious about this movie.
