I wonder if WWE will actually release a DVD of their 3-Hour Raw 15th Anniversary airing tonight? They did release the 3 hour special WWE Homecoming in 2005.

Pretty good show last night. I love the vintage campy ga-ga crap.

I can't wait to watch the World Class DVD today. I'll probably watch "Heroes..." first then watch the WWE/Michael Hayes version. Oh and don't forget, Bound For Glory hits FYE's & Best Buys today too. I'll be grabbing that one also.

wwe.com has posted 3 different clips from the 'Best of Raw: 15th Anniversary' dvd on their site here http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/raw15/v...aw15/raw15dvd/

after seeing the breakdown from silvervision, i was excited like most of you, but after watching these clips featuring Grisham and clipped re-cap video segments, i am am much less excited...

also, where is the cheapest place to pick of Triumph & Tragedy of WCCW today?

WWEshop has now put Royal Rumble Anthology Vol. 3 and 4 and in their description of Vol. 4 they mention Benoit. Looks like WWE won't delete Benoit matches in future Anthologies, but i am pretty sure they won't include his matches for the time being for compilation DVDs.

Speaking of the Royal Rumble Anthology, could someone remind me which shows from Volume III have the blurred logos? Was it 1999-2001?

2002 contains plenty of blurs too...there may also be a minor amount of blurs on 1998, though not yet the turnbuckles and apron logos and such...im pretty sure the 'WWF' scratch logo is covered up in the bottom left hand corner with the oversized, black backgrounded 'WW(E)' logo on each and every DVD from Volume III.

Thanks for the info, fyebonusdisc. Volume III is the only one I don't have, so I was debating if I should bother getting it.

How much was BFG 2007 at your FYE today? Mine in Johnstown, PA had it for $16.99. I wanted to pick it up, but I was expecting it to be at least $14.99.

Honestly though, what were you expecting? With all of the things that they had included on the DVD, there is no possible way that it would have been only 9 hours in its entirety. I'm sure the matches will all be complete, but there is no way that all of the segments that were included could possibly be complete.

I have to say though, I absolutely love that Popup Video type thing that they did with the Austin video. I can't wait for this disc.

Myself, personally, i like to see the old footage and moments shown as close to their original airing...with as few edits, music overdubs and/or "popus" as possible. When wwe makes the biography sections on their dvd releases, the one qualm i have is that they are always playing some loud generic background music over these historic scenes, thus not letting us see them in their original fashion, and depriving us from a more authentic taste of nostalgia. Now if they actually had good, recognizable or appropriate music playin throughout the biographies they would actually probably be much more dramatic and powerful(see ESPN SportsCentury bios)...but if not, then at least turn the music down or off when showing a 15 plus second scene of footage. The Monday Night Wars and the Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior dvds are, in my opinion, the best at doing this. The music doesnt interfere or distract and is generally absent when footage is shown. Don't get me wrong, I I love the wwe biography dvds as of late (especially the Horseman and Michaels), that is just one little issue that i have with them.

rohwrestling.com is having another 30% off sale, so the WWE World Class DVD should come out to around $15 or so...
(use holiday30 as the promo code)

I picked up wccw at Walmart also, for 19.94. Considering time, gas & mileage, the $2 less is a wash since they've close all but 1 Kmart.

Only was able to stop at 1 FYE, they didn't have Bound For Glory yet, neither did Best Buy. I'll be checking out Saturday matinee & another FYE tomorrow. Can't believe the "Up to 50% Off" sale is still going on for TNA DVDs.

I caved and bought Rumble Anthology vol 1-I can always resell it and buy the big boxset if I want...but for right now, I'm planning on just buying vol 1 & 2 (I have all from 99-present) and maybe grab a VHS of 98 for under $10, or grab the single disc from someone selling them broken up on ebay.

I'll update tomorrow on dvd's at Sears, and my luck at FYE & Sat Mat.

Suprisingly, I had to go to three different stores before I found one that was not sold out of the WCCW dvd. Considering it is old territory footage, I never thought of this as being a problem. It was worth it though. Great DVD, but then again I am easy to please when it comes to old territory stuff.

Now if they would just put out a "History of" WCW collection. One could hope.

I cant believe there's no Matt Hardy return on the Raw dvd...that was some of his best mic work when he jumped Edge....Of course there's clips on the PPVs from 2005, but i would like to have the complete unedited "run-ins".

but according to the second listing..March 17, 1997 is when Bret does his heel turn promo and swears.

I'm even more surprised that theres barely anything from the McMahon Helmsley Era, which was by far my favorite time..

Looks like they have to keep some stuff off for the 20th Anniversary set, lol
