It is a fantastic film, I've been waiting for it since seeing it at AFI Dallas in March.

I haven't seen it. I want to see it. The buzz I heard is that it's not so much about the dramas and medical emergencies (which is the basic plot of melodramas) as it is about the songs and the artistic choices Edith Piaf made during her life.

God knows there have been enough Edith Piaf biographies in print and in film about the other stuff...

Well, the DVDs out in two days and there's still NOTHING known about it.
