Been waiting for the SE, so good.
You know I always wondered. WTF is 'Available to Own' supposed to mean?
As opposed to what, "Sure you can buy it, but you have to give it back in two weeks." ?

I thought Fincher said he cut like 20-30 minutes from the film, so I did expect a little longer of a cut. Regardless, I didn't buy the 1st release so this is a no-brainer for me. Sometimes it just feels good when you don't have to double dip.

I thought I read it was a different cut of the film with some stuff removed and some added bits here and there. I know there is some footage after they go to Leigh's trailer. I also heard there was a great transition scene of several years involving music and visual effects that he didn't want to remove. I may be wrong though. One of my favorite films of the year and I held off in anticipation of this release.

Rented the original release because I was aware of this upcoming DC, so I'm glad to hear that we won't have to wait too long for it and I'm sure it'll be my first buy of '08.

Added footage hopefully means new transfer. Although the additional footage is minimal, i trust anything Fincher does...I'm sure it will be great.
Definatley my favorite film of 2007 and will be my first purchase of 2008.
