Saw, but didn't get, the Wal-Mart exclusive. Its the one disc, unrated, with a soundtrack sampler that had about 5 or 6 songs and a Mclovin' ID

Did anybody who ordered the 2 disc from Amazon get it (or get a shipping confirmation)? I see on the site it says it is in stock on Dec 8. I'm gonna order it today.

I went to Target and :surprise, surprise: they were completely sold out of the DE. It looked like they got about 6 in versus having about 30 copies of the single disc. Went to CC and got the last beanie. I might try to hit up another Target after work to look for the DE. Are the book and stickers way cool or should I save my energy?

Yep. It's the weathered and vintage look they were trying to go for.

Laguna, huh? It might not be worth the trip, but the Target near my work by South Coast Plaza had a lot of them. I doubt they'd sell out anytime soon.

i like the packaging for the DE (much like their V For Vendetta or BB's Batman Begins), the book is perfect for me bc it has a lot of pictures it is mostly pictures from the movie with little sayings on them.
the stickers are way cool.........if you are 7 and living in the 80's that is

They were completely sold out of the Deluxe Edition at the first Target I went to, but had about 6 or 7 at the second one I hit. As the previous posters, I also love the DE packaging.

Anyone else not enjoy it as much as the first time they saw it? I guess it's that way with all comedies since you know what line is coming up etc.

Actually no, still very enjoyable for me. I see it as a movie that will stand the test of time. But everybody's different.

BTW, the Target exclusive Deluxe Edition is really great.

Does anyone have any pictures of the Target exclusive? I was interested but the descriptions everyone is posting make it sound like it's not worth buying the movie again to get it. Some pictures would help me finally make up my mind.

I would have jumped on the target exclusive but once you hit bluray...there's really no turning back no matter how nice the standard releases are.

Dillon- Don't get me wrong. I love the movie it will be one of my all time favorite comedies. I was just implying that for me the laughing scale really didn't go off like it did in the theatre.

On a more serious note...
Has anyone accomplished making one of those cross-joints used in the Pineapple Express sneak peak on disc 2?

I wonder about DVDTalk's scoring now. Superbad is given an almost perfect score,
yet it comes as "Highly Recommended".....

Thanks Dillon. Any chance of a couple shots of the inside of the book? Is it really just photos and quotes or does it have some actual content?

Actually, I go to school at OCC today so I just might have to swing by there.

Why? I thought Laguna was known for gays, not pot smokers. (btw... not gay)

I picked up the 2 disc version at FYE (had a gift card), and disc 1 refused to load on the 3 DVD players at my house. Disc 2 played fine.

Did I just catch a bad one, or has anyone else had an issue?
