I received my set last Friday from Amazon. It will be a Christmas present and I feel lucky that I was able to get a set. Amazon has been in and out of stock at various times and none of the retail stores in my area have any. It appears there was a limited run on this set and it has proven to be very popular gift this holiday season.

Can anyone here tell me what the content of The Bourne Identity disc that appears in the set is? Does it feature the theatrical version or the "explosive" cut? Does it feature all the extras between the original collector's edition release and the "explosive" disc including the commentary? DTS?

For Ultimatum, the captions for the places and time, are they burned in or done with removable subtitles (like Syriana)?

I know that the UK edition for some reason made them as removable subtitles, even though they didn't add any dubs on the disc.

Bourne Identity Special Features:

The Bourne Diagnosis

Cloak and Dagger: Covert Ops

The Speed of Sound

Moby "Extreme Ways" Music Video

Don't own the previous "Explosive Extended Edition" so can't compare that.

I did play both the Theatrical Version and the Extended Edition and neither has the audio commentary listed on the cover.

Just a heads up, I saw about 8 of the Bourne Collections at my local Best Buy a couple of days ago. Are you guys still having trouble finding them?

And now, so does Amazon US again, back in stock for $36.99, $2 higher than before.

It's too bad that all the boxsets are 'flawed'
The US version doesn't come with the bonus 2nd disc of Ultimatum,
The UK 3 disc version doesnt either, and the 4 disc is too expensive.
plus the UK 3-Disc has now disappeared from amazon

It's also strange that places like Hong Kong or Korea are not releasing this as a boxset.

edit: blink and miss, the region 1 box is out of stock yet again on amazon.
I'm glad I got one before it was too late.

I bought this, as well as the 2-disc "Bourne Ultimatum" steelbook. I then replaced the "Ultimatum" 1-disc DVD in the box set with the steelbook, and returned the 1-disc to a midwest chain store (Meijer) for $19.99 +tax. Worked out pretty well for me.

Unfortunately yes, all three movies have bilingual packaging. The outer box is english only though.

I'd scarf up one of the Collection box sets, if they didn't all lack DTS.

Currently in search of the DTS editions of the first two movies. But as far as I can tell, there's no DTS of Bourne Ultimatum?

Not sure if this belongs in this thread or its own in Bargains, but I was at Best Buy last night and saw that the steelbook edition of Bourne Ultimatum was set up on an endcap and priced at $14.99, while the regular edition was still in the Action section at $19.99.

Completely unnecesary. Universal really has to stop focusing on re-releases of films that have saturated the market. Why don't they focus their energy in releasing the 3 of them on Blu Ray?
