i just hope they don't f*ck with the excellent DTS track on that first movie... subsequent re-releases of the first movie have somehow managed to leave that DTS track off the dvd...

I liked the packaging, I liked the price, I liked the bonus features, which for all anyone knows may not be replicated here. I'm not complaining. Therefore I think "moron" is a little harsh. As for the Saw movies, they say they're going to six so I imagine that there will be another box set for IV, V and VI, and then a separate complete box set.

I like all 3 movies but unlike Bond i think this is a franchise that needs to be put on hold for at least 8 years or so before we see another installment.
Maybe in like 10 years Bourne realizes he cant ever have a normal life and actually ends up working for the government or something again.

Here's the std. question of these collections...Will the Identity and Supremacy discs retain the special features that are on the individual discs? Also, I suspect the Identity will probably be the "Explosive Edition" instead of the first release. Does anyone know?

Even though I'm finally getting a bit bored with all out gratiutous blowing up of all things all 120+ minutes, I thought this latest Bourne film was very good. Gonna get it, gonna get it, oh yeah.....

I bought the Borune Files at Costco, for $8.99. So I can either a) Buy the new set. Or b) buy the new film at Best buy with the steelbook. Unless major something changed on the bonus disc, I will pass on this one. But I am curious on the package. The Files was cool with the well...files.

Is this just SD DVD? Or will there be an HD 4-pack option?

I hope they retain the original cut of the first film. I've only ever seen the altered beginning, but I didn't like it.

any pics yet on the packaging of the bourne collection? aside from the ones posted on dvdactive earlier... i'm wondering how big the box'll be, if it'll be similar to universal's other franchise collections or whatnot. also, any info on the bonus disc? any press release yet? not sure if i should sell off my old dvds to get the set or just buy ultimatum by itself.

Nice to see that they are going to add the trailers, but that bonus disc from "Files" was pretty cheap in terms of presentation. They should've just added the Ludlum docs to Ultimatum and made it a 2 disc set.

It would be nice if they would actually include everything in the boxset. As it stands, there are still a few extras from the original Identity disc that were never carried over.

I've read the HD-DVD release for the Jason Bourne Collection has been delayed indefinitely but Amazon.com still lists it arriving by 12/17 on a pre-order. What do you guys (or gals) know about this?

The HD-DVD trilogy on Amazon is just the three individual titles bundled together, without any special packaging, so there's no reason for it to be delayed indefinitely.

I received an e-mail from Amazon regarding my pre-order, saying that it was indeed delayed, but not indefinitely. It lists a delivery estimate of 12/20-12/22.

The item page says the trilogy bundle will be released on the 13th, just two days after the release of Ultimatum, so I guess that's the "delay."
