Looks like Elite XC will finally start putting out some dvd's. If anyone remembers, Last year they tried to release Destiny, but the lawsuit with UFC held it back. Both are 2 disc sets with all the Televised and Non-televised bouts included. Scheduled for a May 13th Release.

HDNet Fights jumps into the dvd game with a scheduled May 13th release of Fedor's return from New Years Eve.
HDNet Fights: Fedor Returns
Also, Rumble on the Rock - The Superstar Collection is only 9.47 at Amazon.com, 5 events spread over 2 discs. The video quality isn't that great, but the bouts are top notch. You can't go wrong for that price.

I picked up Ultimate Fighter 6 at Best Buy today, a week early (acording to Amazon), $25, but of course YMMV.

I am very excited about seeing this weekends fight between Matt Serra and Georges St. Pierre. Having trained with Matt Serra on Long Island I can tell you he is a very personable guy and a great instructor. He really works with the students and really loves to teach. I'm rooting for Serra but have to admit GSP is probably one the best fighters in the game. The way he manhandled Hughes in their last fight was amazing. Serra's going to have to catch him again.

Theres a 30% off sale on UFC events #69 through #79 at your local Best Buy and BestBuy.com this week - they are $10.49 before tax/shipping etc.

I thought both of those guys were very classy. Serra picked up ST Pierre and St Pierre told the crowd to be nice because they were going for a drink later.
What was up with that Quarry fight? Could that have been any more boring?

That fight didn't belong on Wednesday night's for free let alone pay per view. It seems like the ref should be allowed to warn him, fight or be disqualified

Was he really fired? Does anyone know why the hell he didn't fight?
I was cheering for the Canadians, obviously, but was happy to see Quarry cheered after that 15 minute chase scene - the Montreal crowds can be rough.
edit: Ah, I see. He wasn't fired, he quit. Sheesh.

I dunno what happened with Starnes ...
I'm also looking forward to those last pride DVDs, I've been waiting for some time now.
edit: I was censored for telling that I ordered some K-1 DVDs from a site. Is there a rule towards which sites can be posted and which can't?
