Yes and it was a blast. I played King Kong in a homemade movie called King Kong: The Dirty Old Man.

I went to Walmart in hopes they had something horror related that I hadn't seen. No such luck sadly. And now we have a giant thunder storm going on so now the pc, tv, and dvd player must be turned off :'( I was on a streak today too

Yeah, Walmart usually has a bunch of movies on sale by now, they're letting me down. Ours only has a little section of shelf devoted to horror movies. It's a shame.

Don't forget, that mp3 of region 2 won't match the timing of the region 1, if you were to try to sync them up.

Last year my local walmart had a wonderful tower of asian an off the wall horror. I didn't pick anything up and am really upset with it as I haven't seen any of those movies elsewhere.

So far this year their selection sucks.

I was on vacation in Florida last year when this happened, and I still dropped about a hundred. My girlfriend made fun of me the entire ride home.

Hey Sabrett, you probably won't be checking this thread today, but hope all goes well with the wedding. Congratulations to you both!

Bad news on the Friday the 13th mp3. I guess I have the Hong Kong one like Giles. I could have sworn I had the R2 one.

Sorry about that.

Movie watching didn't go too good yesterday. Only got 6 in. Finished 4 at work, one at the gym(watched Raw Meat on my Zune while doing the eliptical), and finished one at home.

Today I'm planning on at least doing:
Oasis of the Zombies
The Witches' Mountain
Deep Red
Ninja vs Zombie
Bad Taste(might end up doing tomorrow)

I have it. Give me a chance to rip and convert it and I'll make it available.

Although it wasn't back-to-back, I've been surprised how 3 of the B&W movies I've seen have had sudden bursts of techincolor in them! It started with How to make a monster (Where the last reel is in color) then in either The Vampire or Return of Dracula (I honestly forgot which one it was, but I swear one of them had a brief shot in color) and finally, last night on my first viewing of Picture/Dorian Gray (Which I really liked, BTW, that one's bound to make my top 5 at the end of this challenge)

Wonder what the next connection will be...

Woah, is that one out on DVD, I was thinking it wasn't in region 1 yet? I loved that one as a kid.

Is it just me or is the girl lead in Wind Chill an insufferable **** from the getgo? I wanted to stab her in the face repeatedly. I've heard god things about this movie, and it's great, rea;y, a genuinely scary movie that impressed me very much, but GOD that girl grated on my nerves.

Seeing "Nightmare City" last week has got me thinking about those fast moving zombies that sprint right past the rigor mortis infested Romero ones. How many films actually have them? I can recall the following:

1. Nightmare City ('80)
2. Return of the Living Dead (+ sequels) ('85)
3. The Stuff ('85)
4. 28 Days Later ('02) - Yeah, I know they're not technically zombies.
5. Dawn of the Dead ('04)
6. 28 Weeks Later ('07) Ditto.

What am I missing ...and is NC really the first to introduce them?

If anyone still needs to fill the spoof quotient of their lists, they should check out Hack Movies. These movies are HILARIOUS. For reals.
