Does FYE sell the 300 bonus disc individually?
 

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone knows if FYE sells the 300 bonus disc by itself at their stores? I know it was free with a 300 preorder, but I'd imagine some of the stores had extras, and was curious as to whether anyone knew if they still sold them individually, or if they sold them AT ALL right now with the copies of 300, even if they weren't preordered.

The answer appears to be "no". You probably had to pre-order it to get a copy. I tried 4 different FYEs after release, and was denied.

Oh okay. Forgot to check there. I'll call a local FYE and just double-check I guess. Otherwise I'll look elsewhere.

Doesn't hurt to double check -- I went to FYE on release day only because of the bonus disc. I didn't preorder, but I was going to ask for a bonus disc if they had any extra. Turns out I didn't even have to ask -- the cashier gave me the bonus disc, and he pulled it from a pretty tall pile of discs. So you never know...

yeah, i don't know why FYE was so tight-arsed on this one. you ask three managers, you'll get three different answers, but all along the line of "for pre-orders only". and the staff generally doesn't know about the freebie stuff unless it was stacked right under their noses. my brother bugged the manager for two weeks until she finally got him the bonus disc (and he pre-ordered).

I had no luck at any of the FYEs and Suncoasts I visited. I spent (roughly) three days trying to get one and each store said "Pre-Order Only." Good luck to you, sir. May you have better luck than I.

Geez, if you want it so much just go to eBay.

I did, but $15 plus shipping is what they are going for. Hence my search for a retail store with one.
