Re: Definitive List of Exclusive Bonus Discs - Part 2
I didn't realize we had fallen so far behind in posting in this thread. I miss the weekly updates on what new exclusives are out.
I will try to post from the stores as I see things from now on (re-bookmarking this page). Related question, how do you all store your exclusives? Do you keep them separate at all, or just put them in normal filing order as if they weren't special? What I pretty much do is to take all parts of it that are 'exclusive' out (the exclusive disc, stickers, slipcovers, etc) and store those separately in boxes by store; and file the 'normal' parts in with the rest of the DVDs or BDs by genre or whatever. It gets confusing when it's part of one of my special sub-collections like comic book films and also has an exclusive. I'm re-thinking my whole approach to how I store these now, leaning towards keeping them intact and filed with everything else; or intact and filed separately, having a bookcase (or five) of exclusives. What do you all do? |

Otherwise, yeah; everything just gets sorted as normal. I don't buy multiple editions of anything, so I don't have to worry about an entire set of Dark Knight editions all standing together. I just have the one edition. In my music library, though, I do have all ten editions of Garth Brooks's Double Live and they are grouped together. It actually looks kinda neat to see those uniform spines, I think. |

What is this filing of which you speak?
I have stacks, boxes, more stacks, a large drawerful in a commercial filing cabinet, more stacks, a few inserted here and there in shelves with other things and did I mention stacks? If they were filed then I would place them in normal filing order, in among the rest, except for anything that might just be too big. |

I don't have tons, but the ones I do, I file with the movie, alphabetically, as long as it fits on the shelf. (I got a poker book with Ocean's Eleven or Twelve so it's right with the movie.) I have the occasional stuffed animal, bobble head doll, extra large case that I will keep elsewhere. I make a note in DVD Profiler that it came with something and what it was so I keep track that way.

Didn't see any exclusives at Target for this week. Any at other chains?

Time to bring this thread back to life with a question. Does anyone recall a bonus disc that came with the "Hellboy: Director's Cut" 3 disc set? I purchased it off ebay and the seller thinks it was purchased from Walmart. Ring any bells with anyone?

Searching around I see that this is a "preview bonus disc" that came from Best Buy for Hellboy II. However it just looks like it's the menu for the second disc from the Hellboy II DVD set.

WOW! Shame to see this thread has kind of fizzled out. I FINALLY found the "Hostage" bonus disc that has eluded me or so long.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) Blu-ray had an exclusive bonus disc at Best Buy.
And the 3D Blu-ray of Avengers (2013) at Target had an exclusive bonus disc. Let's not forget that Wal-Mart and HD Movie Source had an exclusive "Big Screen Edition" Blu-ray of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) |

Target had a bonus DVD with Neighbors, with additional behind-the-scenes stuff.
Remember I bought The Time Machine as that was the FIRST DVD to have an exclusive bonus disc- and I STILL haven't watched it! |
Re: Definitive List of Exclusive Bonus Discs - Part 2
Was the Pirates of the Caribbean Lost Disc worth looking for? I had one in my hands once at a used shop, but I put it down and it was gone the next day.
