Well there is someone on Ebay that has 1000 of these sets for sale. Not sure if he is legit, feedback is very low. How on earth could he possibly get 1000 sets?

wahlers 10-18-07 12:11 PM

It looks to me like they're just setting the new 6-disc set with a bonus item of a "Saw Memo Recorder" that appears to have originally been from a 3-disc Saw (I) Uncut DVD set (maybe an exclusive somewhere).

So is Blockbuster really selling the trilogy for $26 or not? Online stores list the retail as $49,and that is what I saw it priced at,at BlockB yesterday.

Abe. 10-18-07 03:08 PM

It actually just went up to $34.99 :(

God, Part II 10-18-07 03:09 PM

Well, as you can see from the screenshots from earlier in this thread, Blockbuster's sticker price on the box is $27.99, so unless they've gone through and changed those over the last 24 hours, they should at least sell it to you for that price, which is still a hell of a deal (just $6.99 not as good as the deal I got yesterday, tee hee!).

he he...maybe they're trying to recoup their losses on the set from Tuesday's and Wednesday's sales...

thedrizzle 10-18-07 03:33 PM

I'm glad I picked this up on Tuesday for $21.

Directors Cut $17.99 at BB next week w/ FREE CASH to SAW IV!!!

Trilogy $34.99 + free cash as well.

I was on the fence until I saw that BB was offering movie cash to Saw 4. Count me in for that one...

So...you're paying $15 extra to get a free movie ticket? -screwy-

MetalGator311 10-19-07 12:29 AM

Can anyone confirm if Saw IV cash is BB exclusive?

Yea, I saw the ad. Haven't seen a CC or Target ad yet so I was wondering if maybe it had been announced somewhere else

It will still ring up $27.99. The price was supposed to be 34.99 minus the coupon bringing it down to $27.99. so it will still come up $27.99 until Nov. 13th

tylergfoster 10-19-07 11:02 PM

In the bargains forum the guy who scored the box from Blockbuster said there was no moviecash. So I think yes, the ticket is Best Buy exclusive.

Julie Walker 10-19-07 11:10 PM

Can someone post what is added to this version of the film please?

Abe. 10-19-07 11:59 PM

I got the boxed set for 15 bucks. It's true, there is a coupon that brings the cost of the set down to $27.99, and it's an automatic coupon. I traded in a movie, and was able to snag the set at a low price :)

JLBkret 10-22-07 04:31 AM

It's True, yes it's true! There IS a Saw Trilogy US Store Exclusive! I heard this straight from the horse's mouth (or should I say the pig's mouth!)....

God, Part II 10-22-07 01:59 PM

Okay, I'll bite because I've had my set for nearly a week now and would desperately love to take it out of the plastic wrap--who has a retailer exclusive for the Saw Trilogy set and what is it?

YES they were 100% successful getting a store to carry them! I got this info straight from Steve (the designer), watch for it tomorrow! Let the hunt begin!

How could you have this great set for over a week and not open it and enjoy it? Why not open it?

For the very reason of our discussion--I'm a sucker for most bonuses, especially bonus DVDs, and wanted to make absolutely sure there weren't any before opening the set I bought. In my opinion, and no offense meant, but the exclusive you've posted is an easy pass for me; when I look at Jigsaw's puppet doppelganager, my first thought shouldn't be "oh, how cute!" So I've opened my set and am now enjoying it!

OldBoy 10-22-07 05:05 PM

could someone give me a quick rundown of what exactly was added to the DC and how much of it there is? tia.

Thanks for the half-ass information. If you're not going to tell anyone where "to watch for it" than don't say anything at all about it.
