Revenge of the Nerds 3 & 4 -Revenge of the Nerds Box Set
Porky's 3 -Porky's Box Set

Edit: Added movies mentioned so far posted. As for the question about bonus discs, I'd rather focus on movies for now.

I believe Scream 2 - Collector's Series is only available in the box set although a standard version is available otherwise.

The Indiana Jones trilogy is only available as a box, but we'll see if that changes.

The Revenge of the Nerds and Porky's box sets are the only place to get the third and fourth Nerds and the third Porky's.

I believe the Scream 2 Collector's Series WAS only available in the Scream boxed set at first, but I believe once the box set went OOP (it is, correct?) that they started offering the Collector's Series for sale separately. I might be mistaken, but I recall seeing it available at several retailers. Unless this listing is not the same version that was available in the box.

For clarification, does this include bonus discs? Or just actual movies? For example, the Jurassic Park Trilogy original released in a collector's set contains the bonus DVD "Beyond Jurassic Park." It was never sold separately, but it is not a movie, just bonus features. This box set is now OOP, which means so is the bonus disc.

Do you want to include bonus discs that are only available in boxsets? Lots of these; the new Die Hard, new Bourne, Jurassic Park, Scream, Sex in the City, Space 1999,....

Boba Fett 07-22-07 01:53 AM

Katharine Hepburn: 100th Anniversary Collection

Red Curtain collection..

darkhawk 07-22-07 04:58 AM

The Paul Newman Collection

HARPER
THE DROWNING POOL
THE LEFT-HANDED GUN
THE MACKINTOSH MAN
POCKET MONEY
SOMEBODY UP THERE LIKES ME
THE YOUNG PHILADELPHIANS

Harper is the only title sold separately

Trevor 07-22-07 07:34 AM

Sleepaway Camp 4 (rough footage) is only available in the Sleepaway Camp Box Set at Best Buy only.

Numes 07-22-07 08:54 AM

Wake-Up Ron Burgundy is only available in the Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgundy (Limited Edition Giftset)

The 94-minute cut of Brazil is only available as part of the Brazil 3-disc Criterion Collection. Not sure why you would want that separately. This may not meet your criteria, as it could be considered a special feature.

The theatrical versions of Star Wars IV, V, and VI are all only availble in the 2-disc sets with the Special Edition, and not separately.

joltman 07-23-07 05:43 AM

From Full Moon, neither the Puppet Master or Dollman/Demonic Toys sets had their DVDs available separately (not in R1 anyway).

That set includes Sullivan's Travels, which is (was?) also available as a standalone DVD, albeit from a different publisher and with different supplements.

RJ MacReady 07-23-07 01:10 PM

All of the films in the Hammer Horror Series 2-disc set (Brides of Dracula, Curse of the Werewolf, Phantom of the Opera, Paranoiac, Kiss of the Vampire, Nightmare, Night Creatures, Evil of Frankenstein) are exclusive to the set, I believe.

Is Omen IV exclusive to the Omen Collection box?

I think you're correct. I recall seeing the "Collector's Series" DVD in stores at one time.

Actually, both Sullivan's Travels and The Lady Eve are available from Criterion, but those are different discs (with extras) than the ones found in the Sturges box set by Universal, so I didn't give it an asterisk.

Weren't you able to order "Beyond Jurassic Park" or something with the box to hold all 4 cases if you had already purchased the first two movies? I know that I own "Beyond Jurassic Park", but I never bought the Jurassic Park Trilogy.

Giles 09-12-07 01:43 PM

I believe the 'Black Emmanuelle' films are only available through the box sets:

wasn't that also the case with the Mondo Cane box set?

They both definately were available. I never saw any of the other titles from each of their collections for sale.

dcrw6 03-01-08 05:15 PM

Actually, Pit and the Pendulum, Death Bed, and Crash and Burn were all seperate releases as well but they went OOP really quickly after coming out.
