I went to Circuit City today in Culver City and did not find one copy. I also checked the Best Buy website and every Best Buy within a 10 mile radius shows up as unavailable. This sucks. I'm going to try Target before I get desperate and head to Suncoast.

I went to 2 Best Buys, sold out. So I headed to Walmart for some other stuff. While I was there, I took a shot to see if they had it. There was probably 15 copies for $12.44

Picked up my copy at FYE this afternoon. Definitely going to watch it later tonight.
My local FYE only received one copy of the movie. One of the BB's I went to did not have any in stock, as well as the CC nearby.

This is massively frustrating - after waiting so many years and then every store either having sold out of the few copies they had or having not even bothered to order it.
Fortunately, my friend who was coming over tonight to watch it with me was able to track down a copy, so not all is lost.

Two Best Buys in my area, and they didn't even carry it! They said that just because it's just coming out on DVD, they still may not carry it if it's an old movie.
FYE had 3 copies today, sold out.
Fortunately, I found one copy at another FYE.

We received nine copies in at the FYE I work at and as of the close of business tonight we were down to one lone Monster Squad DVD. I knew that there would be a demand for this title, but it actually outsold Zodiac and The Number 23 combined at our store! Not bad for a twenty year old "kids movie". Needless to say, I was glad I set one aside for myself over the weekend. Looking forward to watching it tonight!

Finally in desperation I went to Walmart which I normally avoid like the plague and they had a few of them.
I love the treatment they gave to this DVD. I hope Fred Dekker eventually comes through again with a Night of the Creeps DVD.

Was hoping to pick this up on release day, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I went ahead an ordered it online. Better than wasting any more time & gas searching.
I've waited years for this, I guess I can wait a few more days...
