For people with House of 1000 corpses dvd...

Hi,

I just picked up this dvd and had a few questions. My dvd is just a white background and it says house of 1000 corpses in a generic font with the lions gate logo on it. Just wondering if it was supposed to look like that.

Also, on the dvd menu screen is there supposed to be some black space to the right of the menu? all the other menus fill the entire screen but the main menu has a black bar on the right hand side.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Not sure where your located but sounds like a PAL release on a dvd player or TV that supports NTSC only??

My disc has a b/w pic from the movie and the font is the same as the cover art. The right side of my main menu shows the menu choices... you move Capt. Spaulding's head to the section you want to select. Of course, this is after you "ring for service" and Capt. Spaulding comes out.

I just found this photo and this is exactly what mine looks like so I guess thats the way it is supposed to be.

I just thought the black space on the right was strange.

Yes but the reason I didnt mention I had widescreen was because all the other menus were filling the entire screen. Strange that the movie and all the other menus are widescreen except the main menu.

That's not actually black space. That's the rest of the set. There's just nothing there. If you look at the entire pic and disregard the menu, you'lll see the "black" area stars to the right of the register and counter.
