Drink while watching?
 

I usually have a beer or two while watching dvds, how many here have a drink while watching or do you never drink while watching a movie? :toast:

Every now and then I do.. I really like the theaters that have a full bar, man those are beautiful.

I pretty much always have a couple of good beers, or the occasional single malt scotch. Same goes for watching good TV, like Sopranos or Big Love, etc.

A frosty Shiner Bock and a couple episodes of The Sopranos = Heaven.

Personally I have my 40 ounce of Colt Ice when I watch a dvd...You see things in movies you never knew existed...

Well I don't drink alcohol when watching DVDs because I would have to go to the bathroom to many times & would be pausing every 5 minutes.
I do however love to wake up & drink Coffee while watching a DVD for a couple of hours each day before I go off to work at 11pm (work nights). If I don't get to wake up & have my Coffee & watch a DVD my whole day (night to most people) is ruined.
I also don't drink alcohol when watching a DVD because I would be drunk when I got to work. Not that it matters because there's only 4 other people working with me but still.

Okay, just kidding. But I do get drunk while watching Leaving Las Vegas.

Maybe about half of the time.

Usually it's tea with sweets :) But when we're watching something together with my brother we can have a couple of beers.

Half the time its a Miller Lite, and the other half of the time its just a big glass of ice water.

Depends on the movie. Being wasted definately increases my enjoyment of certain movies, such as Fear and Loathing.

It depends on the movie, but a nice relaxing drink goes great with just about any. For transformers, I think I'm going to be partaking in something else, though, prior to the viewing experience. <_\___\___\@ :o

Ah, fond memories of college and multiple viewings of Fantasia 2000.

But as stated above, theatres with bars in them are golden. The one by me has recently given me reason to return to seeing films in there theatrical run.

I try not to drink (1 or 2 glass on ice max.) or else I end up having to visit the toilet too often.

Yep, a glass or 2 or 3 of any good beer, like Summit Grand, SN Stout, New England Elm City, Prazdroj from a can, or a growler from a brewpub.

Cinema drafthouses are the best idea concocted by mankind and should be more commonplace.

Depends on the time of day... At night? Always. Middle of the day? Never.

I usually drink multiple beers depending on the length of the movie.

We drink during some movies. We created an Old School drinking game, we would watch old school then had a bunch of rules, so say when they say blue you drink 2 or when they swear you drink 1 or when there is a single instance of nudity you drink 10. It is a lot of fun.

Yep, depending on the film 2 or 3 beers. Sometimes a couple of shots to start off if I really want to get the buzz on.

Depends on the movie. For a comedy or an action I'll have vodkas or beers. For other stuff I'll choose not to drink alcohol.
