Problems with fox movies in your sony dvd player...

I just bought Alien DIrectors cut 2-disc special edition, Fantastic four extended cut and they both had problems were the layer change is on both discs. I haven't watched Night at the Museum, or Aliens 2-disc, or Alien 3 2-disc which I just bought also, but I am worried they are going to have the same problem. FOr the record, I tried the on my non-sony dvd player and they played just fine. ANy body else have this problem?

I never had a problem with any of my "Alien" movies playing in my Sony DVD.

But mine are from the "Quadrilogy" and my DVD player is like 8 years old.

I also have a sony player that is eight years old, and I just haven't tried them in that player...yet.

Both sony dvd players are 4 years old and 1 week old.

I work at blockbuster, and a lady keeps bringing back movies saying they dont work on her dvd player. It was the company that made Epic Movie among others, I can't recall of the top of my head.

My 4 year old Sony is picky no matter what the studio. It's generally all right with my own well-maintained DVDs, but put in a rental disc with just the slightest fingerprint smudge and it will freak out.

Maybe her DVD player was trying to protect her from bad movies?
