Hell yeah, I was just thinking about this yesterday, looking forward to this release. And I'm thankful that there's no Disney Channel rendition of "I wanna be like you".

Let's hope the transfer isn't the same travesty as Peter Pan.

This will be one of the few SD DVDs I buy this year. There was a segment with some of the original animators on the VHS version we had several years ago that I hope makes the DVD. The segment also had a look at Louis Prima and his band and you could see where they got some of the movements of King Louis from.

the cover is a piece of garbage (I hate it when they update the animation for the cover instead of using the original artwork) but the movie is gold! My favorite movie, now I can retire the VHS forever!

If this was blu ray I would buy a player and become format neutral.

I'll buy it, but I'm pissed that The Aristocats is only getting a special edition release and not a platinum edition.

It's also $14.99 at Best Buy with a plushie of Baloo or Louie. And on top of that, if you put $5 down on Ratatouille, you get $5 off any Disney DVD, which would make this $9.99 if you were planning on getting Ratatouille anyway.

I'm picking up the FS steelbook but I'm also thinking of getting the BB exclusive with the Baloo plush toy.
