Four discs, that means it almost has to include the separate vol 1 and 2 cuts, right? I'm wondering if I should sell my current vol 1 and 2 discs awhile...

Unless you've just been very patient and waited this long to pick up the movies. Or even ever see them for that matter (yea, I know, I just haven't had the time or motivation).

And yes, I'm sick and tired of the "Where're the HD release?" posts. No, I don't have an HDTV yet or HD-DVD player (law school is expensive as it is), so until I finish school, I'll be praying for DVDs to still be mainstream and HD-DVDs to remain niche.

About as sick and tired as others are of people bitching about it.

And yes, I do hope it gets an HD release.

Nice. I'll double dip on this. I'll triple dip when it comes out in HD.

I fall into this group. Don't know why I didn't pick these up even when they could be had dirt cheap, but hopefully the wait will be worth it.

And I too hope there will be an HD release.

Didn't pick up either volume on release, so will definitely get the four disc set.

Man, the last few days, we're being inundated with amazing releases... Commando, Taxi Driver, The Graduate, and now this.

Excited that it's coming, finally. Not excited about the price (I'm cheap). But we'll see.

Great News!!

And I was just about to finally break down and buy the single releases as I had given up all hope of this ever being released.

While I'll most certainly be getting this, I share the same concerns. I really don't think putting the movies together and then just splitting them over 2 discs will change the movie much, if at all. If anything, I'll just miss the cliffhanger ending of Volume 1 and the intro of Volume 2. It will be cool to have the full color version of the big fight but I've seen it before and I can't say it impacted the scene all that much. I'm hoping the other two discs are a wealth of extras since I already have the theatrical cuts. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Already own the other releases but will gladly shell out more for this one! Only question: what took so long? Was it a legal matter between Miramax and The Weinstein Company?

I agree, with this and Taxi Driver and now the rumoured Death Proof Two-Discer, I'm really getting excited.

I agree. Unless it has cool extras or enough changes, I'm not sure how much i'll be interested in this since I already have both movies.

I am ALL OVER this release. I don't have a region-free player, and the Kill Bill films are my all-time favorites. This news just made my day!!

Yeah, it's not a big deal so it's down to interesting extras to get me to buy it and I get progressively less interested in extra features each year so I may just be happy with what I've got.

I thought I read that the Whole Bloody Affair wasn't just the two volumes spliced together, but a different cut of all the footage?
