What title would you ALWAYS dip on?

Plain & Simple. The movie, the tv show, the documentary that no matter how many versions come out you will ALWAYS get 'em?? Just because it is your favorite, just because you don't ever not want to have the best of the one title you love so dearly in the world.

But, we are talking a "dip" that trumps a previous version, even if just a bit. Not like 2-disc release that simply becomes a 1-discer.

For me, it would be my all time favorite movie: "Die Hard". Even though I have the 5-Star I will inevitably have to get the new "Steelbook" coming in June. Sure, it's the same content, but that damned "Steelbook" enhances it just a tad and thus I am compelled, even though all the hairs on my head tell me not to give in to corporate greed.

Also, when "Scrubs" ends its' run and comes out with the Super-Deluxe box set. I will have 7 individual season sets and even if only one new feature is added, I will have to purchase it...no matter what.

So what would you infinity dip on?

For me it's Rocky, I will continue to buy new releases of it. But, I won't re-buy them if they are the same fucking thing, like when they re-released the box set from 2004 which I all ready had this past year, just in slim cases. What a waste of time and money. However I did buy the new 2 disc Rocky, for me it was the third time I had owned the first film.

richard1.1 05-20-07 08:09 AM

Any David Fincher film
Ridley Scott
Star Wars
Seven samurai
Maybe Tarantino also.

sracer 05-20-07 08:15 AM

For me it used to be DAWN OF THE DEAD... but with the Ultimate Edition the only reason why I would nth-dip now is to obtain the alternate "suicide ending".
