Hello, I was just wondering if anyone was having problems with the actual subtitles themselves? I actually bought the DVD from a shop- it isn't a download or a copy. I took it home and put on the English subtitles and then the film started. At least 5 mins went by- no subtitles. Confused, I went back to the main menu and selected English subtitles again- then went back to the beginning of the film.

Again, 5 mins went by and nothing- just Spanish. After about 10 mins the subtitles appeared but they were incomplete and the English was REALLY badly translated. It went on like that for another 15 mins and I'm assuming the whole film is like that. The subtitles are intermittent- it doesn't translate everything they are saying, just some of it.

Is it just my disc that has this error or have other people have the same problem? Maybe it's a one-off and I can buy another off Amazon which will work perfectly. It's definately not the DVD player as all my other foreign films with subtitles work fine.
