Will I Lose anything if I get rid of these DVDs?

I have double-dipped on a few DVDs by buying the later released deluxe or extended versions. However, I think I've read that sometimes "extended" versions may actually drop some of the original theatrical material. Is this true?

When the movies were first released, I always bought the "widescreen special editions" over any bare-bones or fullscreen versions. In any event, since I do have these rereleases (below), can I safely let go of the original versions without missing any part of the movie or special features? I know this may be asking a lot but I also know some of you are information gods that recall everything (I'd kill for your photographic memories, LOL) so I'm hoping it won't be too much in asking for help.

X-Men 2-Disc vs. the X-Men Collection (which has the first 2 movies in 4 discs)
Underworld vs. Underworld 2-Disc Extended
Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition vs. T2 Extreme Edition
The Punisher vs. The Punisher Extended Cut
Elektra vs. Elektra Director's Cut
Daredevil vs. Daredevil Director's Cut

The only thing that I've heard about T2 is that the Ultimate Edition has some special features that the Extreme Edition doesn't have. The movies are the same.

I can only speak for a few of those - you want both Daredevils, as one is theatrical and one is the director's cut - both have "exclusive" footage. You want both T2's if you value extras, as the UE has a wealth of supplments, whereas the EE has the better transfer and sound mix, though has different extras. The X-Men 1.5 2-Disc is the same that's in the X-Men 1.5 & 2 Collection on 4 discs.

Only X-Men 2 replicates all of the special features in the X-Men Collection...
Underworld has mostly different extras from the 2-disk release..
T2: Ultimate has almost completely different features than the Extreme edition which has a commentary and documentary that Ultimate does not have.
PUnisher regular edition has a lot more extras than the extended cut.
Daredevil is similar to T2 in that the extras are different on eack release...

I've just bought the R2 Daredevil definitve edition steelbook, which has the directors cut on disc1 and all the extras of the theactrical edition on disc2. If you want the best version of the film and the extras, this version is the way to go.

I started a definitive thread to answer that same question for all releases, see the last link in my sig.

edit to add: It looks like I've addressed three of your queried titles so far. I still need lots of help to make the list complete of course, but I think we've made a good start.
