As far as I could see, they hadn't sold any when I got there at 10:30 am. There were at least 10 that I saw.

Picked it up at Best Buy with the tin. Looks great, and I was pleasantly surprised to read the contents and see that there are other shorts from 1915 and onwards, including Krazy Kat!

Nice tin!
I counted six of them on display at our local Best Buy. (one of the six was filed under the "Television" section.) Ours is a smaller store than some.
I examined all six tins & could only find one with no dents or other flaws.
So, if you're planning to buy the tin, get there early & examine the packages VERY CAREFULLY.
Thankfully, the digipak inside my tin was also a perfect "10" mint!
Enjoy!

The tin looks just like the Disney Treasures tins...maybe a little wider. My Best Buy had tons.

My Best Buy only had three tins for sale. Warner Brothers did a nice job on the tin, but with the "raised" print and popeye figure on the face of the tin, some may have a hard time finding a perfect one.

I took a break and went down just in case - and I shouldn't have worried, because they had TONS of them, both in new release section and the box-set section. And yeah, it's like an embossed Disney Treasures tin, and I'll be putting it right next to those.

The store closest to me had about 6 which goes along with their ad Sunday saying "Minimum 6 per store". They were priced at $59.99 but rang up for the sale price of $44.99.

My Best Buy had tons of these as well, but zero 300 helmets by the time I got there.

My Best Buy had about 20 of them, but none of the regular digipack or keep case whatever, which I wanted.

I'm glad that they brought the tins to Canada. I bought one today along with the 300 "Helmet "exclusive". Very nice indeed.

I thought the regular was just inside the tins?

I put the paper that's on the back of the tin into the back end of the tin. Even though it's the same text as what's on the back of the DVD, I like having that material somewhere in the case, and it fits nicely!

Oh and, today I also bought The Complete Archie Show which also came out today. Going from watching a few Popeye episodes to Archie was very startling, it's a pretty big drop in animation quality.

It is, but there is a $15 premium on the tin. I'll just take the regular set if I can get it......the tin is too big for my shelves.

I went to best buy today and had the tin in my hands. After lots of thinking, I decided that I liked the regular set better and didn't need to pay the $10 more for the tin. To me the tin had kind of a "cheap" look to it. I can't really explain why. Maybe it's the big case or the lack of color. I just hope I don't regret my decision and see the tins sell for lots of money on ebay!

Here in Canada, the regular set and the tin were the same price so it was an easy choice for me.

My son & I just watched the first DVD and it makes me very happy to finally get to see the shorts looking this good. I hope they don't take too long to get Volume 2 out I want to see the Jeep & Goon cartoons!

Does anyone else have a problem with the sound fading in & out throughout the "Mining the Strip" Popumentary? The rest of DVD 1 plays fine for me, wondering if I have a bad copy...

So does that mean the version with the tin costs $60 or that the version without the tin costs $30?

Currently the version with the Tin is $45. But when it goes off sale next week it will be $60.

Hmmm, I thought they were $60/$45.

Are you saying that they are $45/$30 this week?
