For what its worth, Michael, I can't see what on earth you've done in this thread to warrant such venom.

I dunno either, though I'm sure someone here will come up with a (to them) valid reason. It's not as if I'm the New York Times and required people to register first or sign up for a newsletter. Some people just want things handed to them and clicking on two links has become too much work in the age of "everything now" internet. I appreciate your comments though.

Anyway, I'd REALLY like for this thread to actually go back to it's real subject.

Anyone else see the runtime of 114 mins? The one we have now runs 91 minutes!

I'm not convinced the "114" means anything. If this was a longer cut then surely they would be trumpeting that in the press release.

Maybe with the extras, the whole disc is 114 minutes. ;)

I just watched this movie for the first time on FearNet and it was really good! A definite pick up of this special edition!

Anybody get the new ROTLD release? If anyone sees any reviews or has comments on whether it's worth an upgrade (the soundtrack issue being the primary question), let us know :-)

BB and CC in my area didnt get it today. They looked it up in the computer and none of the stores around here have it. Gonna check Frys and Target shortly.

I'd also like to know if the 2 added featurettes are worthwhile as well. :)

Well that was a waste of my time.

This seems to be the easiest release to find today. Both of my local Borders have it in stock. Too bad it's one of the few I don't really care about. I don't really need (or want) to upgrade my existing copy.

Canadians - I saw this at 2 HMV's and a Walmart today. In with the 2 for $30's at HMV.

Found it today at Rasputins. BB, Frys, Walmart, Target, CC and Borders in my area didnt have it at all. Rasputin has 5 copies for $14.97 and 3 of the 5 were floaters. Havent checked it out but since i didnt have the initial release, it should be okay with me.
