Unusually large number of defective Fox discs recently?

Has anyone else had a problem with an unusually large percentage of defective discs from Fox recently?

I bought several television boxed sets in the pre Christmas sales and have just started watching them recently.

Several of the dvds have frozen on me and they freeze in the same place when played on multiple brands of dvd players.

Fox is willing to replace them, with some hassle in sending the sets back and then waiting 4 to 6 weeks for replacement.

Out of the sets I've watched so far, I've had problems with Reba season 1 and Mary Tyler Moore seasons 1 and 4.

I'm wondering if it's a run of bad luck or a know problem with Fox's manufacturing recently?

are you sure it isn't your dvd player choking? did you test on more than one player?

I tried the discs on multiple brands of dvd players (2 Apex and 1 Toshiba, haven't tried a laptop yet) and they froze in the same place in each machine.
